PLEASE add the reconnect button back to the 3D sign in box, I have problems with losing connection every time there is a world update. You use to have one and it was so much better when you get half way through the download and lost connection you could hit the button to reconnect without it having to start all over again from 0%.
DEAR KANEVA I'VE BEEN A MEMBER FOR A LONG TIME NOW . AND I LOVE KANEVA BUT IT HAS ALOT OF PROBLEMS .JUST TO NAME ONE . WELL WHILE I'M PLAYING THE GAME THE APPLICATION (GAME) END UNEXPECTEDLY.. AND IF I'M LUCKY ENOUGH TO GET A CHANCE TO PLAY ,THE GAME IS REALLY SLOW REALLY SLOW .BUT I'M KINDA OK WITH THE SLOW PART . BUT IF YOU JUST COULD FIX THE PROBLEM WITH THE APPLICATION (GAME) ENDING UNEXPECTEDLY. THAT WOULD BE GREAT !!!!!
I think the World of kaneva stup icon that you get when you have not installed it yet should be the real icon for when you have it installed and it sits on your desktop

add Kosovo as country option and also make Serbia and Montenegro two countries not one!
When I first started I ran across some ooooooold starter homes that had "decorating instructions" acutally printed on the walls. I have to say that THAT is how I learned that I could right-click on my wall and change the texture. Not sure why that was changed but wouldn't it be nice to put it back (and then some like "you can build up through the roof." Just a thought.

Newbies used to go the Help Center when they first log in now they go to their home. Yes the videos in the home are great (and cool) but...it's not the Help Center - which gives you coins (rewards) then sends you to your home upon completion. AND visiting the Help Center is a World Fame requirement.

So please, change it back to newbies first going to the Help Center (after they design their avatar) THEN going to their home. It's not exactly intuitive to go there as it is.
Yes, I tested this. With the nifty new in-world avatar designer newbies are no longer taken to an "avatar design screen" when first signing in. Instead they get a "standard, starter" avatar with no message or anything to tell them how to change their avatar.

Helped someone signup and login recently and was surprised to see they went to their apartment when they first logged in and NOT the Help Center. Found this particularly odd for a number of reasons.

1. The Help Center is a tutorial
2. Visiting the Help Center is one of the To Do list items for World Fame
3. Collecting the coins at the Help Center gives one the most rewards initially.
4. When you "complete" the Help Center you are ported to your apartment so why not start at the Help Center, as before, rather than your apartment?
I've met several newbies who accidentally made a female avi even though they were male. I actually did it myself once when helping a friend sign up.

If Kaneva would make it so gender is initially NOT set so one has to make a choice this problem would never occur again and there would be no need for the gender change people sometimes request.
I have an idea. Maybe Kaneva can help the new people by hiring me to be in the Welcome Center. I would love that job and think I have enough knowledge of Kaneva to get the new game players started on Kaneva. It will help the staff to not get bombarded by new game player issues as well.
Please consider it.

I posted this before on the forums, it was probably overlooked so I figure why not get everyone else's input on it. It used to be that new accounts automatically started at the Welcome Center, apparently with the last update this is not the case. Either way... I'm going to say something awful but bear with me! :) Why don't we take a page from SL and require all new accounts to start at the Welcome Center again but with some tweaks. Mainly, right now when noobs go through they do not watch the videos, they just grab the coins and go. How about requiring them to do the main things before they are allowed to go further. For example, they must buy a piece of clothing, put it on and then take it back of. Give them a dummy object and require the new player to place it, and pick it back up. All the things that the new people end up at the mall asking how to do. "How do I shout?" "What's a PM?" "How do I make a community?" "How do I travel somewhere?" The biggest of all... "What's a rave?" Let's make them add an emote and find out where their inventory is. We can expand upon this more by having retired advisors, call them mentors maybe and give them a green name (lol) that would be able to be in there with them, acting as a support so if someone gets lost there is someone to help. This would make Kaneva easier for new people who may not be familiar with virtual worlds, I for one never even knew about them until I found Kaneva. As it is they take their chance at the mall, sometimes ending up with inaccurate information (ALT + F4 anyone?) or being yelled at for asking a question when they truly need the assistance, just because all of us veterans have heard that same question 40 times already and are tired of repeating ourselves. New accounts should not be able to leave the Welcome Center until they have completed a set list of tasks. Let's be honest, we have all seen new people at the mall being treated poorly simply for being new. This deters people from coming back and fully experiencing all Kaneva has to offer. I'll get off the soapbox now (haha), thanks for reading and comments/feedback are welcome!
